COVID has affected everyone including the Bollywood industry. Shooting schedules are cancelled, movies are shelved and filmmakers are shying away from starting new projects. The wicked virus is not letting us do what we are supposed to do. Wonder what our film stars are doing during the pandemic surge? I confess that I’m a silent follower of the Bollywood folks. I’ve kept the record of what these stars are doing during COVID as they are definitely not shooting 24X7!
1) Quarantined and Making entertaining videos
Many actors quarantined themselves and posted entertaining videos to stay in touch with their fans. We got to witness more information about their personalities. These videos get a thumbs up from us:)
2) Fetish with Bodybuilding
Bollywood is obsessed with bodybuilding and this is not hidden from anyone. They flaunt their chiselled bodies after workouts and fans go mad. Lockdown didn’t deter filmstars from building their bodies and sharing the videos on social media.
3) Escaping to other countries
Covid lockdowns are for normal people like you and me. Filmstars are one platform higher than us. They wisely planned their international trips and posted enviable pictures.
4) Motivating people
A few motivational speeches by our Bollywood stars went viral during the COVID lockdown. While some of them were enjoying International tours, a few tried to convince people that it’s good to stay at home.
5) Farmhouse experience of Bollywood stars
We got to know about the farmhouse lives of some of the Bollywood peeps. Salman Khan was seen ploughing the field and sowing rice crop. Dharmendra posted videos of spending time with the animals on his farmhouse.
We are sure about one thing. Corona or no-corona, Bollywood actors will continue to entertain us with amazing content. We enjoy their act on the big screen.
At the same time, we don’t hesitate to criticise their work but that comes as a part and parcel of celebrity lives. I wish ‘Bollywood Gossip’ stays with us forever.

The stars are supposed to be role models…they should have inspired many like Sonu Sood to help.But they r busy holidaying for free in the Maldives! But now that avenue is also closed

Some stars managed to connect with fans while others distanced themselves with their cheap celebrity tricks to stay in the limelight. I wish they used their position and be real role models for a change.

Instead of making funny videos or just passing time on vacation, I would have loved it if like Sonu Sood they had helped the needy. They can be a good medium to help and motivate to mask up or influence to stay inside or even at least provide with food or basic infrastructure. If they are also waiting for the government and focusing only on entertainment, entertainment, entertainment then I’m disappointed. Their vacation pics only make fans more anxious.

Yes film stars have a lifestyle that is too far from imagination of normal people. I am impressed with your observation and analysis. during recent time, sonu sood did an incredible job in helping people. his work during covid is really praiseworthy.

It would have been great if they considered coming forward in this tough time and extended a helping hand to those in need. Some of them might be working on that front silently too, maybe. Great compilation of the videos.

Yes agree with you, stars live the life that a common man can’t even imagine. They have many ways to keep them busy and occupied even in Corona. Very few keep them busy in something meaningful. I am also a silent lover of Bollywood like you. Love reading all your observations on Bollywood!
