Free Online Money Games By Mortgage Calculator

All of us love to play games online and offline. Most of the games come with a hefty price tag and it’s one of the reasons I don’t try online games very often. To play online games, we want the gaming website to be genuine, free from advertisements, and without any big price tag. The covid period was a testing time and I managed to find some cool games that don’t require us to pay money, but rather teach money lessons through attractive games. Does it sound interesting to you? I’m going to tell you about those online money games where you can learn lessons on Finance without even sitting in a boring classroom 😉

How are Money management Games Helpful in teaching Finance?

I find online money management games helpful in teaching financial concepts, especially to young children. They enjoy earning and spending money in online games without the risk of losing anything.

1. Learn and Grow while playing online money games:

The games based on Business, Real Estate, and the Stock market enable us to learn real-life hacks to earn money like a pro. The fundamentals of money-making get rooted in the people playing these games.

2. Games are Safe to make mistakes and get trained:

One can afford to experiment with the new financial adventures in money games and lose virtual money safely;)
The advantage is that money-making skills can be easily mastered virtually.

3. Interesting way to learn life skills

Earning, saving, and spending wisely are the basic life skills that should be deeply embedded in our lives. Online money games help achieve this goal. The balance among all three can also be learned by playing money games.

My favorite Money Games on Mortgage Calculator

There are dozens of games on the Mortgage Calculator website related to real estate, shopping, the stock market, and other businesses. Once I start playing a game, it becomes a norm to play it every day at that particular time. Does it happen with you also? Tell me and find some of my favourite games shared below:

* LEGO City Adventures Build and Protect

For me, one of the most interesting games is Lego City Adventures Build and Protect which comes under the Real Estate games category on the Mortgage Calculator website. It teaches us to invest at the right time with the right resources. I like collecting revenue and constructing new buildings with it.

1. In this game, players help Mayor Solomon Fleck build a LEGO city by raising buildings with the components available.

2. The buildings earn tax revenues that in turn are used to build more buildings in the city.

3. The player has to find hidden mini-pieces to construct special buildings in each zone.

4. Each component comes at a price that has to be acquired from the taxes from the built buildings.

5. Sometimes, there are fires and burglaries in the buildings. The player has to extinguish fires and stop burglaries to minimize the loss.

* Real Estate Tycoon

Real Estate Tycoon – the game is about buying and selling properties by tracking market trends. Buildings continue to appear on the screen with a price increase shown in green and a price decrease shown in red. The player needs to buy a property when it is being sold at a lesser price. One can play this game in three modes:

1. Career Mode: The player starts with a small amount of money and trades properties to reach a fixed goal amount.

2. Time trial Mode: The player is given a fixed time to reach an earnings goal.

3. Endless Mode: There is no restriction on the time limit, nor is there any earnings goal. The player is free to take any action of buying and selling to earn money.

* Merge Blocks

The game ‘Merge Blocks’ is very similar to the video games we used to play earlier. The player has to merge similar blocks to make bigger blocks and earn points in the deal.

1. At the beginning of this game, you will see the next building to play and three subsequent buildings.

2. Touch the square you want your building on. It’ll automatically be placed there.

3. When similar buildings are placed in a row or in the shape of an ‘L’, they will merge into a new building of the next higher level, gaining points.

4. When the player reaches a multiple of 1000 points, he will earn a hammer to smash one of the buildings to lay another one of his requirements.

As you can see, there is a variety of different types of games that instill the habit of wisely earning, carefully spending, and tactfully investing money. It’s the same money, that decides the way of life we lead. I love these games on the Mortgage Calculator website. These are absolutely free to play and enhance the money management habits of those who play these games:)

    I play quite a few word games on my phone. These sound interesting. I do have a question though. These are the US tax and mortgage systems or Indian?

      I think you got this wrong. The website ‘Mortgage Calculator’ (not Indian) has a section dedicated to money-related games. I have highlighted only that gaming section.
